HBO and Patriots Point

HBO invites you to thank our Veterans and Active Military The Pacific, a 10-part miniseries event, executive produced by Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg and Gary Goetzman, the producers of Band of Brothers, tracks the intertwined journeys of three U.S. Marines – Robert Leckie, Eugene Sledge and John Basilone across the vast canvas of the Pacific Theater during World War II. The Pacific takes an unflinching “under the helmet” look at the experiences of these men and their brothers in arms. Based on the true stories of World War II Marines, The Pacific starts March 14 at 9PM and airs the following Sundays at 9PM. Only on HBO.

In support of the miniseries, HBO will be launching a national video tribute campaign to honor our veterans and active military.

Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum is proud to be working with HBO on The Pacific video tribute campaign and will be hosting a video tribute kiosk in support of this initiative. Visit the HBO kiosk on the hangar deck of USS Yorktown by the Medal of Honor Museum from March thru May to record a personal message of thanks to our veterans and active military. The Pacific, a 10-part miniseries event, starts March 14 at 9PM, following Sundays at 9PM, only on HBO.
